Marisa Stebegg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Marisa currently works at iOmx Therapeutics AG as the Biomarker Development Lead, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Marisa worked at Sanofi as the Translational Medicine Lead from September 2021 to January 2023. Marisa also had a role at Kymab | Sanofi as a Research Scientist I / II - Translational Medicine from January 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for supporting pre-clinical experimental work and delivering biomarker strategies for clinical trials in inflammatory diseases/atopic dermatitis.
Before joining Sanofi, Marisa worked at The Babraham Institute, where they held multiple roles. Marisa was a Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2019 to December 2019, a PhD Student under the supervision of Michelle Linterman from April 2016 to March 2019, and a Graduate Research Assistant in March 2016. Additionally, they had a visiting student position at The Babraham Institute from November 2014 to July 2015.
Marisa also gained industry experience through a Summer Internship at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in July 2013. Marisa had previous research experience as a part-time Student Project at the University of Copenhagen from November 2012 to January 2013, and as a visiting student from September 2012 to January 2013.

From 2016 to 2019, Marisa Stebegg attended the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Immunology.
Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology at the University of Vienna.
Before their master's degree, they studied at the University of Vienna from 2010 to 2013, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology.
Their education journey began at Musisches Gymnasium, where they obtained their Matura/A-level degree from 2001 to 2009.
Marisa Stebegg has also obtained additional certification in the form of a Personal Licence from the Home Office in April 2016.
