Joann Smith

Joann Smith is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in banking and lending. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Ion Bank since November 2019, Joann has demonstrated expertise in financial management and leadership. Prior to this role, Joann was also a Senior Vice President and Head of Real Estate Construction Lending at United Bank for nearly three decades, where responsibilities included originating and managing a construction loan portfolio. Joann's career in finance began as Assistant Treasurer at New England Bank & Trust from 1984 to 1991. Joann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from New England College of Business and Finance, earned between 2007 and 2011.
