Sybille Van Den Hove

Sybille van den Hove is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and ecological economics. As a Co-Founder and Co-Chair at 2030 since June 2020 and the Executive Director of Bridging for Sustainability since April 2017, Sybille has demonstrated leadership in promoting sustainable practices. In addition, Sybille serves as an Independent Director at IBA and as a member of the Board. Prior roles include Executive Director at MEDIAN SCP from 2001 to March 2017 and holding significant positions at the European Environment Agency between 2009 and 2016, including Chairwoman and Member of the Scientific Committee. Academic credentials include a PhD in Ecological Economics from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, a DEA in Environmental Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Licentiate degree in Physical Sciences from Université catholique de Louvain.
