Scott Winters has a long history of work experience in the music industry. Scott began their career in 1991 as the Director of Instrumental Music at Bethany Lutheran College. In 1998, they moved on to become the Executive Director at River Ridge Arts. From 2009 to 2013, they served as the Conductor of the Civic Orchestra at the Music Association of Minnetonka. Most recently, in 2013, they founded Ion Concert Media, a company that promotes and produces live music events using high quality multimedia, and developed a software program that allows a perfect real time sync between video and a live event.
Scott Winters has completed a range of educational experiences. Scott began their education at Bethany Lutheran College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Music from 1987 to 1989. Scott then attended St. Olaf College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Musicology from 1989 to 1992. Finally, they attended Minnesota State University, Mankato and completed Masters Level Coursework in Music and Musicology from 1992 to 1994.
