James "Jamie" Ward is a seasoned journalist currently working as a Business Reporter for ION's Mergermarket publication since April 2019, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the Southeast region of the US. Jamie has a diverse background in journalism, including roles as a News Reporter for the Guam Daily Post and as a Multimedia Journalist for The Source and Patch.com. Previous experience also includes teaching positions at Eaton Academy, where curriculum development occurred for subjects such as Digital Photography and Algebra. Jamie holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree in Business: Computer Information Systems and Marketing from the Kelley School of Business.
