John Kapnisakis

John Kapnisakis currently serves as the Group Chief Information Officer at ION, where responsibilities include leading the vision, strategy, and execution of information technology for a provider of trading and workflow automation software. Since January 2019, John has successfully consolidated staff, processes, and technologies from 15 organizations to create a unified IT function with a global reach, supporting over 10,000 end users and managing a team of 200 members. Prior to ION, John held the position of Global Chief Information Officer at Dealogic from 2003 to 2019, where a track record of success was established while overseeing 87 team members across multiple regions. John's career began as a Systems Engineer at Commscan Inc from 1996 to 2003. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
