Hatty Willmoth is a Food & Nutrition Reporter at Newsweek since August 2024, responsible for reporting on nutrition, food, wellness, and fitness for a US audience, producing four news stories daily along with occasional features. Previously, Willmoth served as a Staff Writer and Communications Officer at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition from March 2022 to August 2024, contributing to a quarterly print magazine and the organization's website. Willmoth has also authored weekly nutrition content for the health and wellness app, Earn It, and written articles for Fit&Well as a Journalist for Future. Earlier experience includes positions at Time & Leisure Magazine, South West Londoner, and contributing to Sussex Bylines and Varsity Publications Ltd, where Willmoth held the title of Senior Features Editor. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Cambridge and a NCTJ Gold Standard in Journalism from News Associates.

The Institute for Optimum Nutrition is an independent, not for profit educational charity. Our Mission is to educate and enthuse, instilling Optimum Nutrition as the foundation of health for all. Our principal aim is to further the knowledge and practise of Optimum Nutrition. We do this through: - The provision of information to the public through our monthly online newsletter and general education days and courses, - Training of Nutritional Therapists, - Training of other professions allied to medicine and complementary therapists, - Train the Trainer for other charities and corporates, - Continuing Professional Development, - Education and Food Demonstration Courses, - Provision of speakers, - The Optimum Nutrition Clinic and - Optimum Nutrition Magazine. Through all our activities we promote the principles of optimum nutrition as complementary to orthodox medicine. Focusing on prevention of disorders through healthy eating and reducing reliance on remedial medicine. Through our work we can increase awareness and provide evidenced based information to the public on the benefits of nutrition to health and wellbeing. Established over thirty years ago, ION is one of the most respected training bodies and health information resources of its kind in the UK. ION is a member of the Nutritional Therapy Council's Training Providers Forum and London Excellence. We look for passionate, committed professionals to join our dedicated staff team to support us in delivering nutritional therapy training at the highest level.
