Vladimir Salamakha

Vladimir Salamakha has had a varied work experience. In 2009, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Trinity Pharmacy. In 2010, they worked as an Office Associate at Radiance Radiology. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Cosmetic Formulation Chemist at Devoted Creations, where they formulated self tanning products such as creams, lotions, bronzers, body washes and scrubs. Vladimir also conducted stability/shelf life testing, bacteria/mold testing and regular lab maintenance. At the same time, they were also an Undergraduate Research at the University of South Florida, where they gained experience with NMR, column chromatography, HPLC, and other separatory or analytical techniques. Vladimir also synthesized Diazo reagents and other organic compounds, and designed new Cobalt (II) porphyrin catalysts. Finally, from 2014 onwards, they have been a Formulation Engineer at Ion Labs, Inc., where they have developed and troubleshooted nutritional supplement formulas which include tablets, chewable tablets, flavored powders, capsules and liquids for both humans and companion animals. Vladimir has also developed and troubleshooted topical skin products such as creams, lotions, serums and toners, and conducted batch scale-up and process testing.

Vladimir Salamakha attended the University of South Florida from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Vladimir also attended Kaplan University from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician.
