Ben Snyder

Ben Snyder has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ben'smost recent position was as a Mechanical Engineer I at Ion Storage Systems, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Coprata as a Lead Engineer from February 2022 to May 2023, and as a New Product Engineer from July 2021 to February 2022. Ben also gained valuable experience at Vanderbilt University, where they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Mechanical Engineering Research Assistant from July 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, Ben worked at Stanford University as a 5Sure Ride Service Dispatcher and Driver from September 2017 to March 2019. Ben was also a Walk-on Fullback and Tight End for the Stanford Varsity Football team from August 2015 to January 2019. Ben has interned at Cisco as a Supply Chain GSM Intern from June 2018 to August 2018. Ben has also held the roles of Caterer's Assistant at Zuc's Frontyard BBQ from June 2017 to March 2018, Youth Fitness Coach and Non-profit Grant Research Assistant at FitKids from June 2016 to September 2016, and Marketing and Sponsorship Intern at San Jose Earthquakes Soccer from June 2016 to August 2016.

Ben Snyder pursued their education with a focus on mechanical engineering. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Stanford University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ben further pursued their studies at Vanderbilt University from 2019 to 2021, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Ben also obtained the Engineer In Training certification from the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners in September 2020.
