Diana Lutz has a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Student Laboratory Assistant in the Mathematics & Natural Sciences Department at Elmira College. In 2015, they were a Research Intern at the NSF REU at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. In 2016, they were a Research Intern at the NSF REU at Stony Brook University. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Battery Scientist II at Ion Storage Systems. During this time, they were also a NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Stony Brook University, where they conducted research on advanced characterization of novel materials and electrolytes for next-generation Li-ion batteries.
Diana Lutz completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Elmira College in 2017, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry at Stony Brook University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
