Osama Benkhaial

Osama Benkhaial has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Osama co-founded ION Telecom and Technology in 2012 and held various positions within the company, including Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Chief Technology Officer, Director of Operations and Business Development, and VAS & Core Network Head.

In 2019, they joined FasterCapital as a Business Mentor, providing guidance and support to entrepreneurs.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Tatweer Research as a Business Incubator Manager and also served as the Technical Lead for Labour Market Assessment during a particular period.

Prior to that, they held positions at Almadar Aljadid, where they served as a Project Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Technical Projects Expert, among others.

Osama also gained experience at Huawei Technologies as a Project Manager and Application & Software Engineer.

During their earlier years, they worked at Alsayar for Telecom, Networks & Computer Services as a Maintenance & Support Engineer, Al-Oula Oil Services Co. as a Help Desk & IT Engineer, and Digital Technology Co. for Print & Advertising & IT services as a Part-Time Sales Representative.

Osama Benkhaial completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Benghazi (Garyounis) between 2003 and 2008. In 2013, they obtained a PMP certification in Project Management from Optimal Academy and also studied Business Startups at the Cisco Entrepreneur Institute. Prior to their university education, Osama attended Trinity Church of England High School from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained a GCSE qualification. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including TOEFL ITP® in May 2018 from Educational Testing Service (ETS), TOEIC® in September 2016 from ETS, and IELTS Academic in October 2021 from the British Council.
