Jonathan Miles Baker

Jonathan Miles Baker began their career in 2013 as a Teacher at Teach First. In 2014, they moved on to become the Head of Mathematics at Glenmoor and Winton Academies, where they were the youngest Head of Department in the country. In 2016, they joined HutZero, one of twenty entrepreneurs selected to participate in the programme run by Cyber London (CyLon) and the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT). Jonathan Miles also became a Managing Consultant at Simplexia Strategy, and COO and Head of Product at Simudyne. In 2017, they were a part of the 2017 Cohort at Techstars. In 2018, they worked as a Contract Data Scientist at Special Projects. In 2019, they became a part of the Founders Programme at Forward Partners, and also took on the role of CEO at Iona Mind. In 2021, they joined Y Combinator as part of the S21 Batch.

Jonathan Miles Baker attended Bournemouth School from 2003 to 2010. Jonathan Miles then attended the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Economics from Trinity College with a focus in Econometrics, Mathematics, Finance, and Industrial Organisation. Jonathan Miles then attended the University of Exeter from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Financial Studies from the Institute of Financial Studies.
