Milan Stika has a diverse work experience primarily focused in the field of nuclear chemistry and engineering. Milan started their career as a Desk Clerk at California's Great America in 2009 before moving on to intern at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in 2011. Milan then pursued their MSc in Nuclear Chemical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where they conducted research on the analysis of the Molten Salt Reactor Fuel Cycle with Thorium Fuel and Single-fluid or Two-fluid Core Configuration. In 2012, they worked as a Researcher at UJV Řež, a.s., where they conducted research on the Fluoride Volatility Method (FVM) and electroseparation methods for Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) systems. Milan then joined the University of Utah as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Nuclear Pyrometallurgy Laboratory, where their research focused on electrochemical actinide monitoring in molten salts. After completing their PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, they worked as a Senior Radiochemist at Flibe Energy from 2017 to 2018. Milan then joined Niowave, Inc. in 2018 as a Radiochemist, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Milan is working at Ionetix as a Senior Production Radiochemist/Process Engineer.

Milan Stika completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nuclear Chemistry Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2007 to 2010. Milan then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Nuclear Chemistry at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Subsequently, Milan enrolled at the University of Utah, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metallurgical Engineering between 2014 and 2017. Milan also holds additional certifications in English proficiency, including a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and a Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) certification from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
