Matthias Behrnd

Matthias Behrnd has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Matthias started their career as an Assistent in Wirtschaftsprüfung Steuerberatung at Rapp Munk & Partner in 1991 and worked there until 1994. In 1997, they joined Stüttgen & Partner as the Niederlassungsleiter Wirtschaftsprüfung Steuerberatung, a role they held for nearly 20 years until 2016. Then, Behrnd joined HitFox Group in 2016 as the Head of the Accounting Department, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are associated with IONIQ Group, first serving as Head of Accounting and then transitioning into the role of Head of Audit and Advisory in January 2020.

Matthias Behrnd's education history begins in 1986 when they enrolled at Ingenieurhochschule Berlin to study Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering), completing their degree in 1989. Following this, they attended BS des MAH from 1989 to 1990 and obtained a degree as Außenhandelskaufmann op. HT (Foreign Trade Merchant). Later, Matthias pursued a degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Economics) at FernUniversität in Hagen from 1991 to 1995. Finally, they attended FHW Berlin from 1994 to 1997, where they completed their Master's degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
