Antonio Pinto-Duarte

Antonio Pinto-Duarte, Ph.D., is a Principal Scientist at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2022 and serves as a Review Editor for the Neurodevelopment section of Frontiers in Neuroscience. As the San Diego Chapter Lead for the Portuguese American Post-Graduate Society since 2016, Antonio has also contributed as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals, including Current Opinion in Neurobiology, Neuropharmacology, Biological Psychiatry, and Neuropsychopharmacology. With a robust academic background, Antonio holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience from Salk Institute for Biological Studies/University of Lisbon and has a diverse educational history encompassing areas such as law and bioethics, as well as biology.
