Benjamin Truong

Benjamin Truong, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as Associate Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 2019. Prior roles at Ionis Pharmaceuticals included Assistant Director of Accounting and Senior Accountant for SEC Financial Reporting. Before joining Ionis, Benjamin worked at PwC as an Assurance Senior Associate from August 2014 to June 2019 and completed an Assurance Internship there in summer 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Accounting (MAcc) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University of Southern California. Early work experience included student positions at the USC Ming Hsieh Institute - Department of Electrical Engineering and the County of San Diego's Auditor & Controller Department.
