Brian Lemay

Brian Lemay is the Vice President of Tax at Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Brian has over 20 years of experience in tax and treasury management, with a focus on increasing shareholder value through cash tax management, cash repatriation, global restructuring, entity rationalization, M&A, IRS audit management, SEC filings, SOX 404 compliance, and building strong and sustainable teams.

Prior to joining Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Brian served as Vice President Tax & Treasury at FireEye, Inc. from July 2016 to November 2017. Brian also served as Vice President WW Tax Planning and Compliance at Websense (now Forcepoint) from January 2010 to May 2015, where they led the global Tax function for this $350 million IT Security software company. Brian has also held the positions of Sr. Director of Tax & Treasury at Unica Corporation from August 2008 to December 2009, and Vice President, Tax at Sensata Technologies from March 2007 to July 2008. Brian began their career in 2001 as Director of Tax and Treasury at RSA Security Inc., where they worked for six years before moving on to Sensata Technologies.

Brian is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Brian Lemay's educational career consists of a Bachelor's degree in Management Advisory Services from Southern New Hampshire University.
