Christie Hamel

Christie Hamel has extensive experience in regulatory operations, currently serving as Executive Director at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing the simultaneous filing of Inotersen in multiple regions. Prior to this role, Christie held various positions at Datafarm Inc. from November 2007 to April 2010, managing the Regulatory Services Group for the West Coast office and supporting the development of eCTDs for IND, NDA, BLA, DMF, and MAA applications. Christie's career also includes experience at PAREXEL Consulting from 2000 to 2008, progressing from Associate to Manager within the Drug Development Group. Early experience at Vical involved drafting and submitting documentation for investigational new drug products in Phase II/III. Christie holds a degree from Albion College, completed between 1995 and 1999.
