Andreas Trenkle

Andreas Trenkle has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andreas started their career as an Energieelektroniker at BLANCO GmbH + Co KG in 2004, where they worked until 2006. Andreas then joined LEONI as an Energieelektroniker for a short period before returning to BLANCO GmbH + Co KG as an Energieelektroniker Fachrichtung Betriebstechnik.

In 2008, Andreas moved to Karl Klink GmbH as a Softwareentwickler, where they worked until 2010. Andreas then joined 1&1 Internet SE as a Data Center Infrastructure Technician EU until 2012. During this time, they gained experience in working with data center infrastructures.

In 2012, Andreas joined IONOS and held multiple roles, including Head of Data Center Infrastructure. Andreas was responsible for managing the infrastructure components of data centers in Germany, France, and Spain. Andreas also had management responsibilities related to Colorations. Andreas worked at IONOS until the current date, and they are currently serving as the Head of TechOps Data Center Operations.

In 2022, Andreas joined STRATO AG as the Head of Data Center Operations Karlsruhe, where they are currently employed.

Andreas Trenkle attended the Heinrich Hertz Schule Karlsruhe from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a degree as a "Staatl. geprüfter Techniker FA Energie und Prozessautomatisierung". Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended the Berufliche Schulen Bretten and earned a degree as an "Energieelektroniker Fachrichtung Betriebstechnik". In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications, including TSI.PROFESSIONALS from TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH - TÜVIT (TÜV NORD GROUP) in 2023, Wirkungsvoll visualisieren für Seminare, Coachings und Beratungen from Haufe Akademie in 2023, ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation from PSW TRAINING in 2023, Accredited Operations Specialist (AOS) from Uptime Institute in 2022, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit from VBG – Ihre gesetzliche Unfallversicherung in 2019, and ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015.
