Bill Rhodes

Bill Rhodes is an advisor and board member at IonLyme. Bill has also served as chairman of the supervisory board at CytoSMART Technologies B.V., managing partner at Third Day Advisors LLC, and on the advisory board of Cayuga Venture Fund.

Bill Rhodes began their career in the medical field, first as a researcher at GEN inCode Predictive Genetics, then as a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell University. In 2006, they transitioned to the business world, joining Altaris Capital Partners, LLC as a managing partner.

In 2012, Bill Rhodes joined OpGen, Inc. as CEO, helping to grow the company into a leading provider of genomic analysis solutions. In May 2020, they left OpGen to join CytoSMART as chairman of the supervisory board. CytoSMART was acquired by Axios Biosystems in March 2022.

Bill Rhodes received their BS in Entomology from Cornell University and their MS in International Business from Seton Hall University.
