Andrii Maksymov

Andrii Maksymov is a Quantum Control Theorist at IonQ Inc. since January 2020, with a diverse background in academia and industry. Prior to this role, Andrii served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Tulane University from September 2013 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes work as a Programming Engineer at NST Ukraine and as a Teaching Assistant at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where Andrii conducted courses in programming and modeling in optics. Additional roles include Engineer at Phoenix Capital, Team Leader at SE SBP ARSENAL, and Freelance Developer focusing on automation of industrial equipment. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from Tulane University, a Master’s degree in Laser and Optoelectronic Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
