Danielle Mitrak

Danielle Mitrak is a seasoned aerospace engineer currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at IonQ since October 2023. Prior to this role, Danielle held various engineering leadership positions at Hermeus, including Director and Head of Quarterhorse Engineering, as well as Lead Structures Engineer, from November 2020 to August 2023. Danielle's experience also includes a role as a Structures Engineer at Astra from May 2019 to October 2020 and at Blue Origin from February 2016 to May 2019. Earlier career stages featured internships at Northrop Grumman Corporation, H2scan Corporation, Space Exploration Technologies, and Boeing, where Danielle gained extensive knowledge in structures engineering, systems analysis, and process improvement. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
