Kevin Kramer is a seasoned expert in technical program management and engineering with a strong focus on advanced nuclear technologies and quantum computing. Currently serving as Global Senior Technical Director at IonQ since September 2023, Kevin is instrumental in the development of the world's first #AQ 64 system, Tempo. Prior to this role, Kevin held a Director position at Microsoft, leading the program management team for HoloLens hardware across various sectors. Kevin's experience also includes leadership roles at TerraPower LLC, responsible for the development of the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor, and significant contributions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in advanced nuclear power design. Kevin’s technical foundation is supported by advanced degrees in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Penn State University, and the University of Minnesota.
