Vadim Karpusenko

Vadim Karpusenko is a seasoned professional in the fields of quantum computing, machine learning, and software development advocacy, currently serving as the Quantum Computing Developer Advocate and Head of DevRel at IonQ since January 2023. Previously, Vadim held significant positions at Snowflake as Lead Developer Advocate for Data Science and Machine Learning, and at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Developer Advocate, where engagement with developers promoted AWS services. Furthermore, Vadim's tenure at Microsoft involved roles as a Senior Developer Advocate in Quantum Computing and ML/AI, while earlier positions at Intel Corporation as a Machine Learning and Deep Learning Developer Evangelist focused on performance optimization. Vadim's experience also includes contributing as a Principal HPC Consulting and Research Engineer at Colfax International, and a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where various contributions to molecular dynamics and software development were made. Vadim holds a PhD in Physics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Computer Science from Belarusian State University.
