Marlon Persaud

Marlon Persaud currently serves as Chief Architect and Senior Director of Systems Engineering at IONX Networks since March 2022, overseeing a systems engineering group focused on product development and integration with Tier 1 MNOs in the US and UK, including the design of a cloud-native platform on GCP/GDC. Prior to this role, Marlon held various positions at Airspan Networks from May 2002 to February 2022, including Chief Architect, where leadership of a multi-site engineering team resulted in significant advancements in wireless products for cellular and backhaul applications. Marlon's expertise in signal processing and system performance has been pivotal, showcased through successful deployment trials and RFP victories. Earlier career experiences include roles as Senior Projects Engineer at Workstation Source, Software Engineer at SDL Queensgate, and Hardware Lead at Racal Instruments. Marlon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from The University of Manchester in 1996.
