Kevin Montgomery has worked in a variety of roles over the past 33 years. In 1987, they began as a Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard. In 1991, they were the Technical Director at the Biocomputation Center at NASA Ames Research Center. From 1997-2011, they worked at Stanford University in various roles, including Technical Director at the National Biocomputation Center and Senior Researcher at the Center for Innovation in Global Health. From 2005-2007, they were an Associate Professor of Research at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center-Houston and an IPA/Special Assistant to the Director at TATRC. In 2005, they founded Intelesense Technologies, a global integrated monitoring company, which was later acquired by IoT/AI. In 2015, they founded Collaborate.org, and in 2017 they became the CEO and Co-Founder of IoT/AI, where they are developing the world's most advanced sensor/edge computing/communications platform.
Kevin Montgomery received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Delaware in 1988. Kevin then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which they completed in 1997.
