Lionel Anciaux has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Lionel is currently the CEO & Founder of IOT Factory, a European technology company based in Brussels that specializes in Smart Metering and Assets Tracking. Prior to this, Lionel worked as an IOT International Speaker & Consultant, focusing on Smart Building, Smart Industries, Smart Construction, and Telematics. Lionel presented at conferences in various countries such as Turkey, Russia, Belgium, and the Philippines.

In addition to their role at IOT Factory, Lionel also worked as the Managing Partner at API Services, a Business and Technology Services - Digital Transformation Agency. Lionel provided consultancy services in Business Development, eMarketing, and Software Architecture for software/hardware-focused companies.

Lionel has also served as the President of the board for the Cluster "Software in Brussels," where they promoted and organized activities to support software companies in the Brussels region.

Prior to these roles, Lionel held various leadership positions, including co-CEO of emixis, CEO of Mobile Token, and VP Business Development at EuropeanInvestor.com. Lionel also worked as a Business Development Manager at Hewlett-Packard, a Project Leader at FICS Group, and an R&D Engineer at CRIF.

Throughout their career, Lionel has accumulated extensive experience in IOT and M2M solutions, business development, technology consulting, and software development.

Lionel Anciaux's education history begins in 1980 when they attended Dachsbeck, where they studied Latin sciences. Lionel continued their education from 1986 to 1992 at the Université libre de Bruxelles, earning a degree in Civil Engineering. In 2003, they pursued further education at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, obtaining a degree in Management, specifically in C&C.
