Eva Chamorro Gutiérrez has extensive work experience in various roles related to optometry and clinical research.

From 2013 to present, they have been working at Indizen Optical Technologies, S.L. where they started as a Customer Support and Wearer Trials specialist, providing technical support in lens production and troubleshooting. Eva also contributed to the design and development of new products and personalized lenses. Later, they transitioned to the role of Director of Clinical Research, where they managed and controlled the Clinical Research team, overseeing the development of new products, conducting clinical testing and trials, and managing internal resources.

Prior to their role at Indizen Optical Technologies, S.L., Eva worked as a Research Collaborator at the Grupo de Neuro-Computación y Neuro-Robótica at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2008 to 2013.

Eva also worked at Factoria I+D from 2010 to 2013 as a Technologist, conducting pre and postdoctoral research in Visual Sciences and providing technical support in the development, prototyping, and marketing of products related to Neuroprotection of the ocular system. Their tasks included designing research projects, conducting clinical trials and evaluations, and epidemiologic studies.

Furthermore, Eva spent time working at Fundación Retina España from 2009 to 2011 as an Optometrist specialized in low vision and Technologist. During this time, they were responsible for leading a research project on the "National Register of Patients suffering from Retinal Dystrophies" and also collaborated on various epidemiologic and sociologic research projects. Their role included designing research studies, collaborating with other medical experts, statistical analysis, paper drafting, and presenting at conferences.

From 2004 to 2009, Eva worked as an Optometrist at Program Vision, where they evaluated and diagnosed refractive alterations, prescribed optical compensations, and facilitated contact lens adaptations.

Eva Chamorro Gutiérrez achieved a Licentiate degree in Optics and Optometry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the years 2002 to 2005. In 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Optics, Optometry, and Vision from the same university. Later, in 2009 to 2010, they undertook an expert level course in Methods and Advanced Techniques of Visual Examination at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Visual Rehabilitation from Universidad de Valladolid in 2009 to 2010. Finally, in 2010 to 2012, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Visual Sciences at Universidad Europea.
