Jean-Pierre du Plessis

Jean-Pierre du Plessis is a seasoned Product Engineering Manager at IoT.nxt since January 2019, specializing in the Raptor project. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Developer and Lecturer at the University of the Free State from January 2013 to December 2018, focusing on human-computer interaction, eye tracking, programming in various languages, image processing, algorithms, and machine learning. Jean-Pierre instructed several courses, including Object Oriented Programming for Engineers, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Advanced Programming. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Computer Science (2012-2014), a Bachelor of Science (IT) Honours in Computer Science (2011-2012), and a Bachelor of Science (IT) in Mathematics and Computer Science (2007-2010), all obtained from the University of the Free State.
