Nishal Dayarathna

Nishal Dayarathna is an accomplished technology executive with a diverse background in electrical engineering and automation. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at IOT Solutions Pvt Ltd since April 2025, Nishal previously held the position of Vice President - Electrical Engineering at Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC from March 2020 to April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Automation Engineer at Midas Safety and Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Unilever. Nishal began the career as an Electrical Engineer at the University of Moratuwa and an R&D Electrical Engineer at OREL Corporation. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, an MBA from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and ongoing studies for an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Moratuwa.
