Maruthi Mukkannaiah

Maruthi Mukkannaiah has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical and analog design engineering. Maruthi is currently working at iota Biosciences, Inc. as the Manager - System Engineering & ATE. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Staff ASIC & Electrical System design engineer at the same company.

Before joining iota Biosciences, Inc., Maruthi worked at Texas Instruments as an Analog Design Engineer at Kilby Labs R&D. Maruthi contributed to research and development projects in this role.

Maruthi also gained experience as an Analog Design Intern at Qualcomm, where they worked on improving the start-up time for the Master Bandgap Reference of Next Gen PMIC.

Additionally, Maruthi was the Co-Founder & Battery/Power system Architect at NITK - STEP, a business incubator for early-stage start-ups. Here, they worked on designing and packaging a Li-ion battery pack with a smart Battery Management System for a Smart Electric Bike product.

At Cadence Design Systems, Maruthi held the positions of Senior Analog Design Engineer and Analog Design Engineer. Maruthi led a project focused on Power Management and designed external Cap LDO IPs.

Maruthi Mukkannaiah completed their Higher Secondary education at MES from 2006 to 2008, focusing on Science. Maruthi then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, between 2008 and 2012. In 2010, Maruthi completed an internship in Sensors and Microelectronics at the Indian Institute of Science. The following year, they did another internship in Analog and Power Electronics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Finally, Maruthi obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University in 2018.
