Shobit Sharma has over seven years of work experience in the software engineering and testing fields. Shobit started their career in 2014 as a Software Engineer at Accenture, where they were involved in legacy system data migration and SAP ABAP development. In 2017, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Kettering University, where they developed an end-to-end learning model for lane centering and adaptive cruise control in a simulated environment, as well as a cost-effective AV platform. That same year, they also became Team Lead for the SAE GM AutoDrive challenge, where they designed an overall concept for the year 1 AutoDrive, analyzed functional safety and safety of intended operation, and developed a lane centering algorithm. In 2018, Shobit joined Visteon Corporation as an Autonomous Driving System Engineer, where they created system integration test specifications, wrote manual and automated test scripts, and led vehicle integration and retrofit activities. In 2021, they joined Argo AI as a Software Engineer 2, where they developed test software for manufacturing, engineering, and design verification of compute platforms used in autonomous vehicles. Currently, Shobit is a Senior System Test Engineer at IoTecha Corp.

Shobit Sharma completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology Sindhi Society Chembur Mumbai 400 071 from 2011 to 2014. Shobit then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering with a Concentration in Automotive Systems from Kettering University from 2016 to 2018.
