Mahmoud Parto, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they were Project Director at Sanat Mansoor. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Research Assistant at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Software Developer (C# .Net, Web) at Constructivity, LLC. From 2016 to 2020, they were Co-Founder and Chief Software Architect at Nebullam, Inc., as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they worked on IoT-based machine tool monitoring and analytics for Delta Air Lines Inc., Caterpillar Inc., and DMDII. Currently, they are Co-Founder and CEO at IoTFlows.

Mahmoud Parto, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 2016. Mahmoud then went on to pursue their Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2017. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019.
