Tom Hashimoto

Tom Hashimoto is an experienced professional in quality document control and quality systems with a career spanning several notable companies in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Associate Director of Quality Document Control at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., since January 2024, Tom leads Corporate GxP document control and training functions. Previously held positions include Senior Manager roles at Astellas Gene Therapies and Pfizer, where Tom implemented quality documentation systems and managed document control support. With a background that includes positions at Medivation, Theravance Biopharma, Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics, and Chiron Corporation, Tom has consistently overseen quality systems and compliance for various organizations. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioenergetics from the University of California, Berkeley, completed between 1978 and 1981.
