Austin Yates

Austin Yates is an experienced transportation professional currently serving as a TSMO Engineer for the Iowa Department of Transportation since January 2019 and as a Lecturer in Traffic Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering since January 2020. Previously, Austin held the role of TSMO Engineer at the Nebraska Department of Transportation from September 2015 to January 2019 and worked as a Traffic Engineer at Alfred Benesch & Company from January 2008 to August 2015. Austin earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, completing the degree between 2001 and 2007.
