Jenifer Bates is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Local Systems Urban Engineer at the Iowa Department of Transportation since January 2022, Jenifer has previously held positions such as Senior Transportation Engineer - Project Manager at Shive-Hattery and Senior Engineer/Project Manager at JEO Consulting Group, Inc. Jenifer's career began with a Cooperative Engineering Internship at the Iowa Department of Transportation, followed by roles that involved comprehensive project management, design, and construction management across various organizations.
