Larry McKnight

Larry McKnight has extensive experience in construction project management, currently serving as the Facilities Coordinator at the Iowa Department of Transportation since September 2020. Previously, Larry held the position of Project Manager at Downing Construction from September 2016 to September 2020, as well as at Ahern from October 2014 to June 2016 and Septagon Construction from February 2008 to July 2014. Early career roles included Estimator/Project Manager positions at AOI Corporation and Enterprise Builders Corporation. Larry's expertise encompasses all aspects of construction projects, including pre-bid processes, contract negotiations, project inspections, budget management, and close-out documentation. Larry holds an Associate's degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations from Ellsworth Community College and has furthered education at Iowa State University.
