Deb Townsend

Deb Townsend is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community development and economic management. Currently serving as the Housing Relief Project Manager with the Iowa Finance Authority since April 2022, Townsend also holds a position on the City Council for Prairie City, Iowa since January 2020. Prior to these roles, Townsend spent over three decades at the Iowa Economic Development Authority as the Production Manager for the Communications and Marketing Team. Townsend's educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management from Des Moines Area Community College, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Human Resources from Upper Iowa University.
