Amber Shanahan-Fricke

Amber Shanahan-Fricke is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the judiciary and legislative sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney for the Iowa Judicial Branch since January 2020, Amber previously worked as Legal Counsel at the State of Iowa Legislative Services Agency and held positions as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. Amber's career also includes experience as an Associate Attorney at Babich Goldman, P.C., and as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Grinnell College. Amber holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Politics from Cornell College.
