Colleen Krantz

Colleen Krantz is an accomplished producer and journalist with extensive experience in television and print media. Currently serving as a Market to Market producer at Iowa PBS since January 2014, Colleen produces stories focused on agriculture and rural America. In addition, Colleen operates Pink Spear Productions, producing films and television series licensed to platforms including Netflix and PBS. As the founder and director of News Tutor, established in November 2012, Colleen has made a significant impact in media education. Earlier in their career, Colleen authored the award-winning book "Train to Nowhere" and co-produced a nominated documentary. Colleen's reporting experience includes roles at the Des Moines Register, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Iowa State University.
