Michelle Wendel

Michelle Wendel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michelle began their career in 1997 as an Auditor at the State of Iowa - Executive Branch. Michelle then worked as an Education Program Consultant before becoming a Fiscal and Policy Analyst - Centralized Payroll in 2006. In 2012, they were promoted to the position of Centralized Payroll Program Manager, where they remained until 2017. In 2017, Michelle joined Iowa PBS as the Director of Administration and Finance, a role they currently hold.

Michelle Wendel earned an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from North Iowa Area Community College, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Michelle then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at the University of Northern Iowa from 1995 to 1997.
