Travis Graven

Travis Graven is an experienced producer, director, and on-air talent at Iowa PBS since August 2013, where responsibilities include producing the flagship public affairs program Iowa Press and creating various documentary projects. With a strong background in sports officiating, Graven has been an official for high school basketball, baseball, and softball since May 1998. Additionally, Graven has served as an adjunct instructor at several institutions, teaching video production and multimedia journalism courses. Prior roles include senior editor and multimedia editor at The Des Moines Register, alongside reporting and photojournalism experience at KCCI-TV. Graven holds a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Wartburg College.
