Abbie Parizek

Abbie Parizek currently serves as a Sports Dietitian for the Iowa State University Athletics Department since August 2023. Prior to this role, Abbie held multiple positions within Iowa State Recreation Services from January 2019 to July 2022, including Head Facility Supervisor, where responsibilities involved hiring, training, scheduling, and managing student staff. Abbie also gained experience as a Performance Nutrition Intern at Iowa State University Athletics Department between March 2021 and June 2022, assisting with various nutrition-related tasks. Earlier, Abbie worked as a Microbiology Lab Assistant at Iowa State University - College of Human Sciences from January 2020 to May 2020. Abbie holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Physical Performance from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University, along with a high school diploma from South Tama County High School.
