Jessica Goodwin is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in victim services and civil law matters. Currently serving as a Victim Services Unit Attorney for the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma since September 2022, Jessica specializes in representing crime victims, particularly survivors of domestic and sexual violence, in state and tribal courts. Prior to this role, experience included a Licensed Legal Intern position at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, focusing on assistance for victims in various legal contexts, and an Office Assistant role at Dickinson Wright PLLC, providing administrative support to attorneys. Jessica holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Grand Valley State University.

The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma is the center of a Sovereign Nation with inherent powers of self-government recognized as such by treaties and legislation located in Perkins, OK. In the Iowa language, we call ourselves Baxoje (Bah Kho-je), meaning “People of the Grey Snow”. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma is complete with its own constitution and bylaws. There are many aspects of the Tribal Government, all necessary to ensure the best for our tribal community and members. As of today, they have over 800 members enrolled within the tribe and a jurisdictional area covering all or parts of Payne, Oklahoma, Lincoln, and Logan counties.
