Jorge Caeiros

Jorge Caeiros has worked for a number of companies since 2008. Jorge began their career at the Federação Nacional de Karate - Portugal, where they served as a High Performance Athlete - rank A. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Software Developer at Novabase, where they were responsible for API and Framework design and implementation, application of continuous integration technologies, analysis and implementation of business requirements, and support and training of Quality Assurance/Software Certification teams. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Development Team Lead and Software Engineer at General Distribution Ltd., where they developed AWS cloud systems under SCRUM methodology and participated in the migration of an ASP.net system to open source technologies. Since 2018, they have been a Lead System Architect and Senior Software Engineer at iownit capital and markets, Inc.

Jorge Caeiros obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2005 and 2010. In December 2017, they earned an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
