Mário Silva

Mário Silva has been working in the software engineering field since 2008. Mário began their career at ZON Multimédia as a Software Developer and then moved to Sobrenet in 2011, where they created a store website for selling motorcycle accessories using Magento framework. In 2013, they joined IT People Innovation as a Software Developer, where they created an insurance simulator and subscription modules for multi-channel integration in partner's websites. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Grupo Ageas Portugal as a Senior Software Developer. In 2020, they became CTO & Co-Founder of Epix Industries, where they lead two teams that built AR unity apps giving NFT pack opening experiences and two NFT custodial marketplaces. In 2019, they were a Blockchain Consultant at GetScatter Ltd. and they are currently a Software Engineer at iownit capital and markets, Inc.

Mário Silva obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2003 and 2012. Mário also obtained two certifications from Microsoft, a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) in June 2015 and a Programming in C# (MS) certification in June 2015.
