Catriona Bruce is a seasoned professional with significant experience in education, patent analysis, and research commercialization. Currently serving as a Volunteer Educator at MIEACT since July 2020, Catriona shares lived experiences to enhance educational programs. As the Head of the Patent Analytics Hub at IP Australia since May 2010, Catriona provides essential information on innovation trends to decision-makers. Previous roles include secondments to the Research Commercialisation Taskforce and the Office for Women in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, aiming to advance gender equality and enhance university research commercialization. Catriona has held various positions in patent examination and research, alongside leadership experience as the Managing Director of Blackwidow Fireworks. Catriona's education includes an Executive Masters of Public Administration from ANZSOG and a PhD in Immunology from the University of Reading.
