Jennifer McGarrigle

Jennifer McGarrigle is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and writing. Since April 2016, Jennifer has served as the External Communications Manager and previously as the Communications Officer at Vancouver Island University. A freelance writer since 2006, Jennifer specializes in helping individuals articulate their stories. From July 2013 to April 2016, Jennifer held the position of Assistant Editor at Maximum Yield Publications, a prominent indoor gardening magazine. Prior experience includes working as a multi-media journalist at Black Press from May 2006 to July 2013, covering a range of topics including education and lifestyle. Jennifer earned a Post Baccalaureate Journalism Certificate in Print Journalism from Langara College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Simon Fraser University.
