Julie Jankin

Chief Technology Officer at IP Convergence

Julie Jankin has a long and varied career in software development and technology. Julie began their career in 1992 as a Team Leader/Application Developer at Salomon Brothers, where they lead the globally deployed financial funding system and wrote a majority of the base system source code for the user interface. In 1997, they moved to Long Term Capital Management as an Application Developer, where they were the technical lead on the majority of the firm's back office operational systems and wrote the majority of the base system source code for the profit and loss Java based system. Julie then moved to Nicholas Applegate, where they managed the corporate wide data center and led the Corporate Trade Analysis Reporting group. In 1999, they began working at Investment Technology Group (ITG) as a Software Development Manager, where they designed, developed and led the overhaul of the Market/Referential data group's C, C++ and Perl infrastructure to a more flexible Java architecture. Julie also worked on extensive database design and development for terabyte level storage and retrieval requirements. In 2016, they joined IP Convergence LLC as the Chief Technology Officer.

Julie Jankin attended the University of South Alabama from 1987 to 1991, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Statistics.
