Luke Kinsman

Luke Kinsman is currently a Technology Consultant at Wellspring (IP Pragmatics Ltd) since March 2022, specializing in various technology sectors including cleantech, pharmaceuticals, and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities encompass presenting data-driven recommendations for R&D and market strategies, business development, competitive intelligence, and conducting IP due diligence. Previously, Luke was a PhD Researcher at The University of Edinburgh from September 2018 to March 2022, focusing on environmentally sustainable recycling of waste electronics, and served as a Tutor and Laboratory Demonstrator for undergraduate chemistry students. Earlier experience includes a research role at Johnson Matthey, where advanced ion exchange materials for metal extraction were developed. Luke holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University.
